The Traumag is a biannual journal that was published for 3 years. The objective of this magazine was to promote access to knowledge about post-traumatic stress disorder and to raise awareness on effective treatments for people with post-traumatic stress disorder. The editorial team consisted of students, researchers, and experienced professionals.<\/p>\n
Our first issue explains what post-traumatic stress disorder is and how to help victims of violence.<\/p>\n

Why are we addressing this issue? Since 2011, a research team at the Trauma Studies Center has been working on this issue. Indeed, the VISAGE team, a misordered acronym for Sex and Gender-Based Workplace Violence, aims to deepen and share knowledge about violence in the workplace. As you will discover through your reading, social support plays a key role in mental health, and particularly in the recovery of victims of traumatic events. \nWe have omitted from the resources list on page 4 the centres for Crime Victims Assistance (CAVAC). Their mission is to provide front-line services to all victims of crime and their families, as well as crime witnesses.
