Edith’s testimonial

Solveig-Maude and Gabriel-Alexandre, aged 9 and 11 respectively, tell us how they experienced the post-traumatic stress of their mother Edith. It is therefore from the point of view of her two children that we enter Edith’s universe. She experienced a traumatic event on August 8, 2011, almost a year before the video was filmed. That night, at around 2:00 A.M., Edith was the victim of an armed robbery at her workplace. She was a cashier in a convenience store at the time. A man wearing a ski mask came in, and in a very calm and low voice, asked her for the money from the cash register and cigarettes. He took everything and then left the premises.

From November 2011 to June 2012, Edith successfully completed cognitive-behavioural therapy and recovered.
