Evaluation of post-traumatic stress disorder

Only an interview with a health professional (psychologist or doctor) can determine the presence of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. However, several self-diagnostic tools are available.

The Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment is posting a list of anonymous screening tools to help you determine if you have symptoms of mood disorders, anxiety, or post-traumatic stress disorder. Your results may help you know if you should consider talking to a healthcare professional in case additional support or intervention is needed.
