Louis’ testimonial

In 1983, Louis received a very high distinction: the Star of Courage of Canada for exemplary conduct. Why? Because on July 30, 1981, he managed to thwart a robbery in the bank where he held the position of director. He immobilized the robber who was holding the bank’s employees and customers hostage. More than thirty years after this dramatic event, Louis gives his testimonial. Despite the passage of time, his emotions remain as vivid as ever. For him, this event transformed him. He became stronger and was able to accomplish things he would never have dared to do before.

In 2006, Louis successfully completed cognitive-behavioural therapy. Today, he is doing well.
