Nous participons à l’amélioration des soins de santé offerts aux Québécois en conduisant des projets de recherche, dont les coûts sont pris en charge par les organismes de subvention au niveau provincial ou fédéral. Présentement, nous comparons l’efficacité de deux types de thérapie sur le traitement du trouble de stress post-traumatique.

Il est ici question de 21 choix multiples qui mesure le niveau d’anxiété chez les adolescents tout comme chez les adultes. Les symptômes émotionnels, physiologiques et cognitifs de l’anxiété y sont clairement présentés, ce qui permet de bien différencier l’anxiété à la dépression. Les résultats obtenus peuvent se situer entre 0 et 63 points. Entre 0 et 7, il s’agit d’un niveau minimal d’anxiété; entre 8 et 15, anxiété légère; entre 16 et 25, modérée; et entre 26 et 63, sévère. Ce questionnaire est relativement bref, entre 5 à 10 minutes sont à prévoir afin de le compléter.

Il s’agit de 6 questions portant sur l’état émotif d’un individu durant les 30 derniers jours. Les résultats obtenus se situent entre 0 et 24. Un score supérieur à 5 indique des signes de détresse psychologique modérée tandis qu’un score supérieur à 13 indique des signes de détresse psychologique sévère. Ce questionnaire est d’une très courte durée dû aux nombre peu élevé de questions.
